Thank you! I've been on this site for 10 years and it's going downhill so badly that I wonder daily whether I should keep this gallery around. Art theft is something I have zero tolerance for. It's illegal for one, and morally wrong. I know of four DA profiles still up that have stolen art and writing on them, even after the original content holders filed copyright complaints and the user was reported multiple times. DA refuses to do anything about it, even after I messaged them multiple times linking to the original works and all that. It's ridiculous. Alex-Mars is one of many people who commit art fraud. Tracing does NOT equal art. It's good for practice and getting a feel for things, but when you trace over something and filter the crap out of a picture, it's fraud. And the fact that she has the balls to admit it is just astounding.

Now it's filled with weeaboos,yaoi fangirls,furries,fetish artists etc.
Honestly I think this site has way too much fanart for a site that's supposed to be an art site. We might as well call it deviantFANART.
But disregarding that,the site,like FF.net,has a very lazy administration that doesn't bother to live up to the rules.
There used to be some incredibly obvious art thief called useableaccount4 or something,and it took him/her one month to get banned.
Anyways,the site has turned into a pile of excrement that doesn't deserve to contain "art" in it's name.

Yeah she admitted she traced over parts of her work, but she has no idea why it's wrong. Well, "claims" because everyone who tells her it is gets blocked. And yes, DA was never held seriously as an art site...more of a glorified social media site with art on it. And that's okay, whatever works, but now I feel it's incredibly out of hand. They need mods on here badly...it's just underrun, and I see a lot of artists that have been on here for years suddenly backing out. I just stay on here because it's such a large audience. And actually ff.net has quite a good team from what I've dealt with. I reported a girl for stealing a story and 2 hours later it was down.
